ADVANCE Orientation 2010
Want to get the inside scoop on life at Lipscomb, your class schedule, and all things college before the fall semester begins?
At ADVANCE, you will learn about campus life, receive academic counseling, enroll for classes and begin to develop friendships with other new Lipscomb students! All this by participating in a variety of informative, interesting and fun activities, many of which are hosted by members of our Quest Orientation Team.
ADVANCE dates: June 17-18, July 19-20, August 16-17 (Both the June and July sessions are closed. If you would like to be put on a waiting list for July please email Stacey Lusk at stacey.lusk@lipscomb.edu.)
Transfer ADVANCE dates: August 16-17
QuestWeek dates: August 17-22
QuestWeek begins on August 17. This required week consists of Freshmen and Transfers under 21 getting to know the campus through a unique experience of planned activities, as well as being introduced to the city of Nashville in various forms. QuestWeek also marks the start of Freshmen seminar classes. Signature QuestWeek events include a cruise down the Cumberland River on the General Jackson showboat, an afternoon of service in the Nashville community, and Initium, a special welcome to the university's academic community.
